![]() Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday, December 3 with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at: Washburn-McReavy. ![]() He was very loved by his family and will be deeply missed. ![]() He was a happy soul, laughed easily, and left only friends with his passing. Gale loved his family, and cherished all dogs. He enjoyed bowling and golf, he was an accomplished pilot, and a practicing Christian. Gale was an outstanding athlete earning All State honors in football. Worked as a switchboard wireman for Northern States Power for over 40 years. Leopold in the North Altantic, honorable recipient of the Purple Heart. Served in the Coast Guard during WWII, survived the sinking of his ship the U.S.S. Sending warm thoughts and hope for better days. May you find peace with our love and support. Family will be around you to help you through. Wonderful uncle to Charles Elander, Karen (Ty) Dong, Holly (Conrad) Schimmelpfennig, Laura (Jed) Sauer Harry Stillwell, Leann and Sandy Fuller, many grand nieces and nephews.
